Visa fees
Most visitors from the UK, the EU, the USA, Canada and Australia need no visa for tourism, according to Morocco’s official checker. For nationalities that do, the e-visa costs 770 MAD (70.0 EUR) standard or 1,100 MAD (100.0 EUR) express. See the visa guide.

To show how the numbers combine, here is a one-way loop from Casablanca through Marrakech, Fes and Chefchaouen to Tangier and back to Casablanca, using only fares and tickets from the tables above (2nd class trains, foreign adult, 1 person).

That is about 800 to 850 MAD for transport and 550 MAD for the five tickets listed, so 1,350 to 1,400 MAD in total (about 123 to 127 EUR at the Bank Al-Maghrib rate). It leaves out airport transfers, local taxis, hotels, food and tours, because we have no official price for those. Train fares are dynamic on the ONCF site, so the same seat can cost more on another date.
What we could not verify
Hotel and riad rates, restaurant prices, guide fees, tour prices and bargaining ranges have no official source, so we have not listed them. Our currency guide has conversions and tipping norms, and the itinerary shows how these costs add up on a route.
