Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Atlas & Routes uses, and how you can control them. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site work properly, remember a choice and measure how it is used.
Cookies and similar technologies on this site
- Essential. WordPress and our caching setup may set small technical cookies so pages load correctly and forms such as the contact form work. These do not track you across sites.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which guides people read, from which countries and on which devices. It collects technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, and we use it only in aggregate to improve the guides.
- Advertising. The site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), Google shows its own consent message before using them.
How to control cookies
- In your browser settings you can view, delete and block cookies, for all sites or only for this one. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- You can manage personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Links and embedded services
Our guides link to official sites such as ONCF, CTM, Supratours, UNESCO and government travel advice. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.
